Markey's is doing contact-tracing! they're super-serious about sanitation right meow. AND one of their by-the-slice pizzas is the Island slice: Canadian bacon, pineapple, and cream cheese. color me impressed and owner Roy has been absolutely glowing. some things are getting better! there's also new yet not ridiculous or excessive patio furniture and as usual the employees exhibit perfect service. highly recommend supporting this community staple when you're spending your dollars out.

Great local bar! The drinks are very nicely priced and served by very friendly staff. The patrons are very friendly and the owner is a great guy. I have had the pleasure of going there for a very long time and can safely say, it is my favorite bar to watch a variety of sports. There is a shuffleboard table and you might even scare up a dart game.

If I only had one more night in Nola, I would drink here. and get the tater tachos (they're fresh, not reheated like 13). I just LOVE the vibe, the food, the bartenders (each and every one of them) and the Irregulars that post up. Especially Dean. and all the grumpy dart players with good stories. and its pup friendly. and bathrobe friendly. (Actually not sure about that last one.) ♡
